Riverview Park
Riverview Park, situated along the Rivanna River, is a great starting point for a morning out. It offers open lawns, a playground, and easy access to the Rivanna River Trail. This paved path stretches roughly 2.3 miles along the water. It is a comfortable route for walking or jogging. The riverside scenery also makes it feel more like an escape than a workout.

McIntire Park

Greenbrier Park
For a quieter option, try Greenbrier Park. This 28-acre neighborhood park has trails along Meadow Creek and tends to draw a smaller crowd. Walk the UVA Grounds
The University of Virginia holds a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation, the only university in the country to do so. Thomas Jefferson’s original design for the academic village, anchored by the Rotunda and the Lawn, is open to the public at no cost. Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection

IX Art Park

Fridays After Five
One of Charlottesville’s favorite warm-weather traditions runs at Ting Pavilion from mid-April through mid-September. Charlottesville City Market
